Mexico's Antonio Margarito says he's not worried if Miguel Cotto aims his punches at his right eye.

Margarito needed surgery to repair a fractured orbital bone after losing to Manny Pacquiao in November. Margarito fights Cotto for the 154-pound (69.9-kilogram) title Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, and the New York State Athletic Commission ordered another examination of his eye before finally licensing him Nov. 22.

Margarito said at a news conference Wednesday: "He can punch me in the eye. It's not going to do any damage."

Cotto says he doesn't think Margarito would fight unless he was healthy. But Cotto says if he and his corner see a weakness, they'll go after it.
