AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani says he has sent a loan request to Manchester City after reaching contract terms with Carlos Tevez.
Galliani tells the club's official TV station, Milan Channel, that "there's an agreement with the player and a short while ago we sent a message with an offer to City: a free loan with the rights for a full transfer under certain conditions.''
City has reportedly set a 4 million pounds price to acquire Tevez on loan for the second half of this season, and is asking for another 20 million pounds to keep him after that.
Galliani says he wants Tevez in Dubai at Milan's holiday training camp at the end of this month.
