Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association over an alleged obscene gesture he made toward Fulham fans.
Suarez was photographed walking from the pitch on Tuesday following his team's 1-0 Premier League defeat in west London with his middle finger raised, apparently at the home supporters.
The FA says the Uruguay international has until early next week to respond to the charge.
The FA has also charged Liverpool "with failing to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.''
