David Beckham says he's yet to decide where he'll play when his current contract with US Major League Soccer side the LA Galaxy comes to an end.
The 36-year-old's contract finishes after Tuesday's friendly between the Galaxy and Australia's Melbourne Victory, and the former England captain says he hasn't started thinking about his future.
Beckham is believed to be weighing a substantial offer to play for the French club Paris St. Germain or to remain in the United States. He told reporters Monday he wants to spend some time with family before making any decision.
"I wanted to end this season with a championship and we did that, then I wanted some time on this tour to be able to celebrate it," Beckham said.
"I haven't actually started thinking about it yet. Once I get some down time, then I'll start thinking what's going to be best.
"I'm going to spend some time with the family, have a good Christmas."
Beckham and the Galaxy arrived in Melbourne on Monday for the Victory match in which he is likely to oppose Australia's former Liverpool forward Harry Kewell.
One of Beckham's first tasks was to visit Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital at which he planted a kiss on the cheek of 19-month-old Allegra Fewson-Ward who suffers from a bone infection.
"I hope it helps with her healing, maybe he's got the healing kiss," Allegra's mother Jackie Fewson said. "I don't think she'll remember, but certainly we'll keep reminding her of it."
Beckham drew cheers from children and parents when he arrived at the neuroscience ward, wearing a plain T-shirt and jeans. He spent almost an hour chatting and posing with the child patients, relatives and staff.
