MATCH STATUS
The Black Caps have taken two wickets in the first session with Trent Bout claiming the scalp of Usman Khawaja for 23 runs after a great catch from captain Ross Taylor.
After struggling to breakthrough the unbroken 74 run partnership of the Australian openers during yesterday's last session, Chris Martin took the wicket with his fifth ball of the day.
The Australian opener was caught in the slips for the fourth time in the series with Guptill taking the catch after a thick outside edge.
The home team are in the box seat with only 117 runs to win with a handy eight wickets to spare.
