The Black Sticks have qualified for the medal round at the Champions Trophy on the North Shore after a dramatic 3-3 comeback draw against the Netherlands.
Down 3-0 in the second half the Black Sticks staged an impressive fightback capped off by a Dean Couzins penalty stroke with two minutes remaining.
The draw means New Zealand finish in second place in pool B, edging Germany for a spot in the final four which begins on Thursday.
