Black Sticks coach Shane McLeod has blasted the standard of refereeing at hockey's Champions Trophy on the North Shore.
McLeod says the referees were too slow in his side's 2-1 loss to Australia and failed to match the tempo being set by the players on the pitch.
He says the bad calls went both ways.
McLeod says the game was fast at it demanded accurate decisions and they got quite a few wrong.
Finals day begins with Pakistan and Korea looking to avoid the wooden spoon from 10-35, before Great Britain and Germany chase fifth spot from just after one.
Later, the Black Sticks meet the Netherlands for third and Australia and Spain meet in the tournament decider.
