Much of Central Auckland is hit by road closures for most of today because of the The ITU Triathlon World Cup.

The annual series of triathlon races staged around the world consists of a number of different stages taking place throughout the day in downtown Auckland.

There will be road closures and parking restrictions affecting different streets at different times.

Parts of these streets will all be closed to traffic for much of the day: Quay Street, Queen Street, Customs Street West, Shortland Street, Princes Street, Bowen Avenue, Victoria Street East, Kitchener Street, High Street, Wakefield Street, Mayoral Drive, Victoria Street West, Wellesley Street West and Albert Street.
