Deb Tasi-Cordtz has been reappointed as coach of the Otago team for the 2012 season.

Tasi-Cordtz, who guided Otago to the final of the national championships in October, will have the top job for a third consecutive season.

Another coach to be reappointed is Lauren Piebenga, seeking to win back-to-back titles with the Otago under-21 team.

This is likely to be the last year of the national under-21 competition as Netball New Zealand looks to phase the age group out in 2013 and focus on the Lois Muir Challenge competition based on the five franchises.

Noeline Scott has been appointed coach of the combined Otago-Southland team for next year's Lois Muir Challenge.

She will be joined by an assistant from the Southland region, while Steel co-coaches Janine Southby and Natalie Avellino will be involved in the selection of the team with a view to identifying potential Steel players for the future.

The Otago under-19 team will be guided by two new faces, head coach Kim Dodds and assistant coach Marie Holden.

Dodds (Owaka) and Holden (Cromwell) have been apprentice coaches at national championship level, and involved with under-17 centre teams, and have completed many Coachforce modules.
