Kiwi Kris Gemmell has streaked to a massive win in the elite men's triathlon at the ITU World Cup event in Auckland.
Gemmell led with Tom Davison after the bike leg, and pulled away on the run to win by more than a minute over fellow Kiwi Bevan Docherty.
He's clocked a time of one hour 59 minutes and 58 seconds in an emotional win.
Gemmell says it's been a horrible year on the circuit and he's proven he can match it with the rest.
Kris Gemmell's completed the double for New Zealand after Andrea Hewitt won the women's race.
