Kiwis' forwards Issac Luke and Jeremy Smith are to challenge suspensions handed down for foul play during their side's 28-6 Four Nations defeat by England, according to reports.
Luke is contesting a two-match ban for an illegal leg twist on England scrum-half Rangi Chase on the stroke of half-time in Saturday's Gillette Four Nations match in Hull.
The South Sydney hooker had a formal caution hanging over him for a "cannonball'' tackle in the Kiwis' 26-12 defeat by Australia in the opening match of the tournament in Warrington.
Cronulla loose forward Smith is fighting a one-match ban handed down for an illegal use of the forearm on England full-back Sam Tomkins earlier in the match.
Both cases will be heard by an international disciplinary panel in Leeds tomorrow morning (Wednesday, NZ time).
The panel also handed down a formal caution to Wales prop Gil Dudson for his use of the knees on Australia winger Jharal Yow Yeh during his side's 56-14 defeat in Wrexham on Sunday.
The New Zealand players will be represented by Jim Doyle, chief executive of NZRL, and football manager Tony Kemp because the Kiwis are on their way home.
The hearing will be chaired by a high court judge and also comprise neutral Four Nations representatives Geoff Carr (Australia) and Mike Nicholas (Wales).
If upheld, the suspensions will be carried over into the NRL, where they can be wiped out in official pre-season trial matches.
