Otago United is putting its best foot forward and is now officially Gran's Remedy Otago United.
The foot powder company, which started in Dunedin, will be the team's naming rights sponsor for the 2011-2012 ASB Premiership season.
"We are very proud of our strong ties to Dunedin and Otago, and jumped at the chance to show our support for Otago football and to help further develop the sport throughout the region," Gran's Remedy CEO Jim Reay said in a statement.
Otago United Board spokesman Phil Cunningham said the link with Gran's Remedy was "great news for both Otago United and football in the Southern Region."
"This show of support is a real boost for the team, and we hope this buzz continues throughout the 2011-2012 season."
The club will debut in its new home, Forsyth Barr Stadium, when it takes on Waitakere United on Sunday November 6.
