New Zealand's overall junior national champions were decided at the final competition of the season at Cardrona Alpine Resort last week.
Snow Sports New Zealand coaching and sport development director Adam Dooney said the event was a "fantastic success".
The competition included snowboard and ski slopestyle and ski halfpipe, which will feature for the first time at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
Results weigh heavily in the selection of New Zealand's development teams, a process which begins soon.
'It's exciting to see the up-and-coming freeskiers and snowboarders, and for the first time know that some of these competitors could well represent New Zealand as future Olympians," Dooney said.
The overall champions of four age divisions were named based on combined results in five events.
Male freeski champions: Olly Allan (17-19 years), Beau-James Wells (14-16 years), Jackson Wells (11-13 years), Nico Porteous (10 and under).
Female freeski champions: Amy MacIntyre (14-16years), Samantha Poots (11-13 years), Phoebe Young (10 and under).
Female snowboard champions: Jessica Comber (17-19 years), Dakota Craig (14-16years), Kristal Roberts (11-13 years), Zoi Sadowski-Synnott (10 and under).
Male snowboard champions: Tim Herbert (14-16 years), Carlos Garcia-Knight (11-13 years), Blake Alty (10 and under).
