nzherald.co.nz has live updates of today's first quarterfinal as the Springboks takes on the Wallabies at Wellington Regional Stadium.
South Africa were the winners of Pool D and head into tonight's match with plenty of confidence after a clean sweep of Wales, Namibia, Fiji and Samoa.
Australia had been penciled in to top Pool C however they were tipped over by Ireland in pool play and had to settle for second-place and a tough clash against the world champions.
