Undefeated
Every Rugby World Cup winner has gone through the cup undefeated.
Meaning: New Zealand wins the cup

Lose one to win one
Winners tend to lose in the previous tournament's quarter-finals.
Meaning: New Zealand or Australia win the cup

History repeats
The semi-finalists are the same four teams as in 1987 when NZ won.
Meaning: It's New Zealand again

... Or does it?
The semi-finalists are the same but the matches are different: New Zealand played Wales and Australia played France last time.
Meaning: Allez les Bleus

The Kiwi factor
Three of the semi-finalists are coached by Kiwis.
Meaning: There's a very high chance there's something in it for Kiwi fans. But on the other hand, maybe the odd man out wins. France again.

Eden Park hoo-doo
The All Blacks have not been beaten at Eden Park since 1994 and the Wallabies have not won there since 1986.
Meaning: New Zealand wins the cup.

Winners beat winners
Every World Cup winner since 1987 has beaten the cup holders during the tournament.
Meaning: Australia wins cup

Conclusion
The omens, therefore, point mostly to an All Blacks win. There's a bit of support for France and Australia but Wales have got no show.
