The Kiwis know a repeat of their Newcastle nightmare in the Four Nations opener will put them firmly on the back foot for the tournament.
New Zealand and Australia meet in this morning's first match in Warrington with the Kiwis coming off a 42-6 hiding in the one-off test.
Skipper Benji Marshall says if they repeat that effort, they're toast.
He says you don't get second chances in the Four Nations so they have to start well.
Kickoff is at 8am.
