An Irish bookmaker's taking a punt of its own - paying out early on the All Blacks winning Rugby World Cup 2011.

Paddy Power figures it'll be paying people out on Sunday after the final anyway, so it might as well start now.

Bets made before 10am yesterday are eligible.

The man behind the agency, Paddy Power himself, says the odds are overwhelming in the All Blacks' favour.

"It's actually a little bit of a shame that the final's going to be so one-sided. It'll be a stroll in the park for the All Blacks. France must be the worst team ever to get to a world cup final and how they've done it after losing two games, I'm not sure,'' he says.

But Paddy Power admits the result's not certain, and says it'll be nasty for both the All Blacks and his agency if the team loses.

The payout totalling 650,000 euros ($1.2m NZD) will apply to all bets placed before 10am yesterday.

The bookmaker says it's inevitable bookies will take a hammering on Sunday so punters may as well collect now.

The All Blacks have won all their matches at this year's tournament and are on a 26 match winning run at Eden Park.

The odds for the bet weren't great - a $9 bet would have made you just an extra dollar.
